本中心前身是闽南八卦拳会成立于1995年，是由八卦掌第五代传人、史派八卦掌第四代传人洪其骏创办。会长洪其骏系八卦掌第四代传人、史派八卦掌第三代传人狄兆龙先生之徒，中国武术六段，史派八卦掌1996年传入大连,本中心于2006年6月6日正式成为大连武术协会团体会员单位,本中心旨在继承和发扬史派八卦掌。认真积极地开展八卦掌挖掘、整理、研究、普及、交流等活动，弘扬民族优秀传统文化，为本地区人民的健康事业服务。为本地区经济和精神文明服务。本中心愿意团结全国各门派武术名宿及八卦掌传人、大师前辈、其同倡兴八卦掌这一中华武术瑰宝。同时加强八卦掌运动的对外交流与合作，健康有序的把八卦掌健身活动推向新高潮。
